Madrid

Collin and I had an 8 hour lay over in Madrid so we decided to go into the city. It was beautiful!! The little streets were so picturesque!! We didn’t really have any sort of plan for Madrid so we wandered the city. We only went in a couple of circles.  We eventually made it to the main palace and cathedral. I wish we would have had time to make it into the palace but I guess we’ll just have to come back! We couldn’t leave our bags anywhere so we were pegged as tourists instantly and that was not fun. We ended up having to pay a Minnie Mouse because she forced her way into a selfie. 😑 

So crazy thing, on our way back to the bus we passed this construction site that was having some MAJOR issues. To the point where they shut the whole road down literally 30 seconds after we passed. And diverted traffic. The whole 9 yards. It was a little crazy. I want to google it to see what exactly happened. Anyways, on to Amsterdam! Can’t wait to see some windmills! And finally be able to 😴 ✌🏽(Collin has only slept a few hours these past 2 days so he’s a champ. I slept waaayyyyy more than him and I’m struggling to stay sane and friendly haha)
