/inˈtrepəd/
adjective
- fearless; adventurous
Collin and I met in August of 2017. I was working with his sister, Reann at the time, when one day she casually mentioned she had a brother that was starting to get into yoga. Me being the yoga crazy person I am, I told her she HAD to tell him that I wanted to try acro yoga with him. Disclaimer, since we have been together we have only done acro maybe 5 times. Anyways, he FINALLY decided to get a hold of me and invited me to go hiking. I was sooooooo nervous. To the point where I was waiting at work long after my shift, until his sister got there so I could freak out about how nervous I was. I at one point asked if I should shake Collin's hand when meeting him. The only thing Reann said to me was, "Julia, you guys are so similar you are either going to love each other or hate each other." Come to find out, we are so similar that he asked Reann if he should shake my hand just minutes after I had asked her. How funny is that? Well, we both think its funny. Within the first few minutes of meeting Collin I knew that I had met someone I wanted to spend all my time with. He's so smart, caring, hot, funny, driven, hard working, dedicated, just to name a few qualities that I love. The more we hung out the more I caught myself falling hard. After doing the talking hanging out thing, I started catching myself wanting to call him my boyfriend. In September of 2017 he became just that, my cute perfect boyfriend. Within a few days after that we decided to take our first trip together, hitting Vegas, The Grand Canyon, and Mesa Verde. Then a couple months later we went on yet another trip to one of my favorite places in the world, Washington D.C., and parts of North Carolina. Collin is my absolute best friend and I am continuously grateful that he is in my life. I loved traveling to all these places with him. He's a great travel partner and I want him to be my travel adventure partner for the rest of our lives. Collin is graduating from Utah State this week (YAY) with a degree in economics. As a celebration to us both having finished school and moving up in the world we decided to plan a 3.5 week trip to Europe as a reward. Me and my wanderlust gypsy soul are practically counting down the minutes until we touch down in Amsterdam. So, lets raise a metaphorical glass to our fearless travels, our fearless love and the adventurous future.
