Asheville, NC

During our trip back east Collin and I decided to take a couple days to explore Asheville, NC.  For those of you who don't know, I was planning on moving to Asheville back in October.  I had never been there before but for some reason the universe kept putting Asheville into my head.  So while we were in North Carolina for my sister's wedding we went over to good old Asheville. We loved it.  It is such a hippie town in the Smokey Mountains.  The first day we were there we went hiking.  We decided to do the Looking Glass Rock trail and head to one of the waterfalls after.  This hike wasn't too hard, was extremely beautiful, and overlooked the mountains.  Thankfully we went hiking the first day, because the second day a huge terrible storm blew in.  We were hoping to be able to make it into Asheville for some New Years bar hopping, but ended up being stranded in our hotel room due to all the ice.  We did get a chance to eat some great food.  If anyone is in Asheville, check out the Laughing Seed.  The food was AMAZING and HEALTHY!!!  I wish I had a picture of what we ordered but I don't! :(  Downtown Asheville had this adorable little bookstore that I absolutely loved.  There aren't many bookstores around anymore and this one had such a cute comfortable feel to it.  The street art was also super cool.  Like I said, Asheville is pretty tree huger hippie artsy, so there were a lot of interesting things in the city itself that were super unique.

Two days later this waterfall was completely frozen!!
