Como

Como is an absolute dream. There really isn’t another way to describe it. It is so gorgeous. This massive lake is completely surrounded by mountains that are completely covered in trees! I completely understand why multiple celebrities have homes here. We decided to get on a bus from Como and head to one of the smaller villages. The bus ride was completely insane! The roads are so narrow and so high up the mountain! At one point the bus driver had to slam on his breaks because another car was coming around literally centimeters from the bus. When we got off at our stop it took a long hike to get back down the mountain to the lake. We decided to rent kayaks and go out on the lake for a bit! We loved being out there! Thankfully we decided to get off of the lake when we did because a HUGE storm blew in. The bus only runs every hour so we were stuck in the pouring rain for way longer than what we would have originally wanted! It was a fun adventure regardless. Apparently there are trails that connect all the little cities together, if the bus hadn’t have arrived when it did we were going to start a long strenuous journey either up the mountain or try to hitch hike! 

Again, we have eaten our weight in ice cream, pizza, and pasta. If I only had to eat that for the rest of my life I’d be perfectly content. 💕
